A Thousand Cures

A THOUSAND CURES

Go "Destination"

Alt rock quartet, A THOUSAND CURES, has garnered Garageband.com honors and assorted Ontario Independent Music awards, not to mention so many radio competition victories that there doesn't seem to be an end for these ambitious Canucks.

After a decade of pavement pounding and a minor nip and tuck in their line-up, these Toronto natives have recently collaborated with producer
Mike Borkosky (ill Scarlett and Low Level Light), revamping their approach and reinventing their sound. By all accounts, the result of their rigorous effort has been impressive. Open wide for the latest pill they're pushin' in 'Destination' at Garageband.com

Your Favorite Enemies

YOUR FAVORITE ENEMIES

Go "I Might Be Wrong"

Six-piece sensation, YOUR FAVORITE ENEMIES, threw out the mold for music success and created a template all their own.

Inundated with requests for their 5-song EP and lacking the support to deliver their product, these savvy Montreal natives took matters in to their own hands and formed Hopeful Tragedy Records in 2007. They would end that year with more than 30 thousand copies sold, a European promotional headlining tour, expansive coverage by major international media and a multimedia branch of their own label dedicated to, among other things, the production of a weekly podcast show on "YFE-TV." You’ll be hard pressed to find a more exciting do-it-yourself band out there shaking up even the non-traditional models. Give these enterprising alt rockers some respect and check out 'I Might Be Wrong' at Garageband.com

PETER BLOOM BANDAccolades and awards abound for singer/songerwriter
PETER BLOOM whose live shows have been described as "pure heart and raw energy." His latest,
'Let It Go,' has won Song-Of-The-Year status in international competition so don't let it go by you without a listen at OurStage.com

TONES OF HOMEThe home in TONES OF HOME, is Kalmar, Sweden; the tone is power pop stirred with a twisty stick made of melody and melancholy. This Scandinavian five-piece is finding their feet and ready to take their tones beyond home and out to the masses with their latest 'Walkabout.' Let them know they've found second home right here with us at Indie Top 10 and give a listen at TonesOfHome.se.

BOJIBIANThe boys of BOJIBIAN(pronounced: bo-JIB-ee-an) gathered from near and far to stake their claim in the City of Brotherly Love. Though scarcely over drinking age, this motley quartet has a festively quirky and upbeat sound that evokes many an act, old and new- from the Talking Heads to The Strokes- but remains so uniquely their own that eventually you just have to say, "By God, BOJIBIAN sounds like, well, BOJIBIAN." Try'em, you'll like'em. 'No New Bodies' from the charts of OurStage.com

GEOFF BYRD Often credited as the first artist to break through from the internet into the mainstream,
GEOFF BYRD has over 500 placements on TV, has earned several Grammy ballots, co-wrote a song with John Oates and has a quote on his website from Stevie Wonder that says, "I love you man. We should do a song together..."

SALUTING THE ROCKIESSALUTING THE ROCKIES from Minneapolis claim that if their music is "sugary, it's raw sugar, if it's reckless, it's never a wreck, and if it's hydroplaning across a wet highway with innocent woodland animals in harm's way, be sure that all hands are 10 and 2 on the wheel." Well, if that doesn't say it all then see what the 'Survey Says' at OurStage.com
