Spiral Trance

SPIRAL TRANCE

Play "All In Due Time"

"Freedom from convention, music with intention." This has been the motto for SPIRAL TRANCE since day one.

On the back of several EP's and five national tours, Spiral Trance emerged from the studio to deliver their most diverse and cohesive offering to date. From the gorgeous piano melodies and speed-metal guitar attack of opening track "This Time", to the relentless guitar riffing and sing-a-long chorus hooks of the closing track, "Project And Release", hard rock and metal fans alike will have something truly unique to embrace. With their recent signing to East Coast record label Rat Pak Records, a new album and a beautifully, brutal video for their 2010 single "The Me You See", there is no questioning the hunger and fire that has burned within SPIRAL TRANCE since their inception and 2000 debut release. This month we'll take a listen to a few cuts from their latest release "All In Due Time".

Distant Lights

DISTANT LIGHTS

Play "Metamorphosis"

Austin's DISTANT LIGHTS combine complex instrumentation and masterful lyricism into a powerful, progressive sound, making this quintet unquestionably unique.

DISTANT LIGHTS' momentum continues to accelerate through 2009 as their musical exploration has drawn increasing attention. In addition to concentrating on a new album, the group has begun work on a collaborative effort with scientist Richard Merrick, author of "Interference: A Grand Scientific Musical Theory". While still in the works, the educational endeavor plans to combine an explanation of harmonic interference theory through live performances and lectures. Additionally, DISTANT LIGHTS kicks off 2010 with an ambitious plan for touring, recording and promoting throughout the year.
